RedFox AI Technologies (“RedFox AI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides RedFox Illustra (“Illustra”), a browser-based scientific illustration and figure creation application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Illustra.

1 Information We Collect

Illustra is designed to keep your scientific work under your control.

Depending on the features you use, Illustra may process limited account information such as:

• Name or display name
• Email address
• Account authentication information
• Optional profile information

This information is used to provide account access, authentication, and related application functionality.

RedFox AI Technologies does not collect, upload, or store the scientific illustrations, drawings, or figure content you create in Illustra.

2 User-Created Illustrations and Drafts

Your drawings, illustrations, compositions, and drafts are created and maintained within the Illustra application.

RedFox AI Technologies does not collect or use the content of your scientific drawings for advertising, analytics, training artificial intelligence models, or other unrelated purposes.

Drafts may be stored within the application or on your device/browser as required to provide the editing experience. Exported figures are saved to your device according to the options you select.

Your scientific artwork remains separate from your account information.

3 Google Sign-In

Illustra may provide Google Sign-In as an optional authentication method.

When you choose Google Sign-In, Google handles the authentication process. Illustra may receive basic account information provided through the Google authentication service, such as your name, email address, and profile information permitted by you.

Google Sign-In is used to identify and authenticate your Illustra account.

Using Google Sign-In does not mean that your drawings or scientific illustrations are sent to RedFox AI Technologies.

RedFox AI Technologies does not use your Google account information to access, collect, or analyze the scientific figures you create in Illustra.

4 Scientific Illustration Resources

Illustra may provide scientific artwork and resources from third-party open-licensed collections.

Some artwork may be adapted, modified, recoloured, resized, disassembled, or combined within the editor. Each resource remains subject to its applicable license and attribution requirements.

Where applicable, Illustra provides attribution and license information for the resources used in your figure. Users are responsible for complying with the applicable license requirements when publishing or distributing their figures.

5 Local Storage

Illustra may use browser or application storage to maintain drafts, preferences, workspace settings, and other information necessary for the application to function.

This storage allows you to continue working on your figures without requiring the scientific content to be transmitted to RedFox AI Technologies.

6 Data Sharing

RedFox AI Technologies does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not sell, share, or provide your scientific illustrations or drawings to third parties for advertising, marketing, or AI model training.

Limited information may be processed by third-party services when required for functionality, such as authentication services used for Google Sign-In.

7 Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with Illustra accounts.

Because your scientific drawings are not collected or stored by RedFox AI Technologies, the security of locally stored drafts and exported files also depends on the security of your device, browser, and local storage.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8 Children’s Privacy

Illustra is not specifically directed toward children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application.

9 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Illustra’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be updated accordingly.
